Review of The Dirty Dozen (1967) by Shane D — 27 Dec 2013
Feeling a lot like a follow up to The Great Escape, with an assembled cast of greats and an extended running time, The Dirty Dozen is a solid and entertaining war-time classic. This is the first film starring Lee Marvin I've seen and now I'm interested to see him in something else.
Always great to see a young Donald Sutherland and Charles Bronson as a leading man is a point of confusion/interest. Takes a little while to get to the "mission" but that doesn't disappoint.
