Quite simply, this is a great film. I was lucky enough to see an uncut version presented by big Ken himself, and it was incredible. The set design by Jarman (his first screen credit) is amazing, and Oliver Reed is simply great.
This film needs to be restored to this uncut version, as it was butchered on its release, and it has an undeserved bad repuation. A true lost great film.
