Review of The Devils (1971) by Andrew L — 26 Nov 2014
A classic Horror film from Ken Russell that isn't available to be seen in north America. I got to see a special presentation of it with Guillermo Del Tor and Host Richard Crouse, both of whom love the film and enlightened my as to a lot of details I missed.
The problem is, I just couldn't get into the story, and didn't love the techniques in the film, or the acting which is over the top. It was still an interesting watch and glad I saw it, just not my kind of movie.
