Review of The Devil Rides Out (1968) by Dan G — 19 Jan 2008
Christopher Lee shows that he could also be a great leading hero when he got the chance and he absolutely nails the role of Duc deRichleau, which could have been laughable in the hands of a weaker man.
The effects have dated today but there is enough satanic rites here (blood drinking, orgies, hypnosis and hallucinations) that I'm satisfied. A superior Hammer movie.
