Review of The Devil Rides Out (1968) by Joe O — 24 Jan 2009
Hammer gets darker with this satanic edge. There is a mixture of creepy, frightening, and poor special fx but Christopher Lee plays the hero for a change and does a fine job. Charles Gray is, of course, excellent as the villain.
A must for all hammer fans.
