Review of The Death of Stalin (2017) by Eric T — 25 Apr 2018
Really glad I was able to find a showing for this movie. Anyone interested in history and the absurdity of life in the Soviet Union should find this pretty hysterical. Steve Buscemi was great and the movie chose a good comedic path (they didn't pretend to speak Russian) and maintained it for the most part throughout.
Satirical/dark political humor like this is more than entertainment and is important commentary on some of the darkest chapters of history. I would see it again for sure.
