Review of The Dead Zone (1983) by Tom R — 08 Mar 2008
Based off of Stephen King's novel by the same name and directed by David Cronenberg, this is one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Christopher Walken's performance is great and the story is very interesting.
The craziness level is also high with the scissor suicide scene and just how everything unfolds. The ending is definitely a tearjerker, but is good because it's strays from the norm. I wish the ending was different (for obvious reasons when you see it), but it's not enough to make me not give this movie a 10!
