Cronenberg's 'The Dead Zone' is one of the best Stephen King adaptations around. The effective scoring and cinematography make this one atmospheric and tense paranormal thriller.
Christopher Walken delivers a strong performance as a man who loses his comfortable life only to gain the power to see the future. Johnny despises his gift until he crosses paths with a sinister young politician played by Martin Sheen.
