Review of The Dead Zone (1983) by Eliz M — 09 Nov 2013
Recently revisited and I have revised my appraisal up a half a star. One of my favourite Stephen King translations to screen this involves the story of a young man with psychic powers to predict the future and this leads to a series of interesting sections related to this . Excellent direction by David Cronenberg but benefiting from an affecting turn by Christopher Walken in a restrained powerful perfomance. Good support from veteran actor Herbert Lom and a scarey over-the-top on from Martin.
Sheen.
