Review of The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) by Sonya D — 26 Apr 2009

I never had any desire to see this movie, but when I bought the new Earth Stood Still movie, it was with it as a bonus, so I decided to watch it. It was not bad, but wasn't as good as the new verison.

I thought that the special effects was pretty good for such an old movie. The story plot was similar, but very different than the newer version, but still interesting. I'll never watch it again, but not bad for an old 50's film.
