As noted I love movies so typically I will find something I like. I didn't have to look hard to find something to like in The Darkest Minds. I was expecting a faster pace, but I was not disappointed.

I think this a very entertaining film with depth of story, character connections and subplots that intertwined nicely. I thought the right relationships were given the most screen time and I was intrigued by the super human powers, the confusion of these new gifts and the journey of discovery needed to understand their potential.

It may not be a roller coaster ride of extreme thrillers, but it's dark ride intensity is worth experiencing.
