Review of The Dark Knight Rises (2012) by Jordan Z — 21 May 2015
Christophe Nolan comes off fresh off the marvelous The Dark Knight. In this movie he proves that he is a great director. Yes, there are some plot holes in the movie, but it didn't take me out of the movie.
This movie consists of extraordinary oscar-worthy performances by Christian Bale and Michael Caine, and not to mention an over the top Batman voice. Everything about this movie is great, the visuals, the acting, the action, the spectacular score by Hans Zimmer, and not to mention the villain of this movie, Bane.
This movie made Bane go from the bumbling idiot he was in the horrible Batman & Robin, to one of the most badass villains of the entire DCCU. This movie even have a little bit of good humor that gave some good laughs.
The Dark Knight Rises is a epic movie that ends Christopher Nolan's trilogy beautifully and that's why I'm giving this movie 5/5 stars.
