The Dark Knight Rises succeeds in going big for the trilogy's ending by somewhat forcing its plot into that direction, making it the weakest of the trilogy. That being said, the movie's still great and part of an even greater picture, and it's still very enjoyable in many aspects (acting, action, special effects, themes, etc.
).
