Already considered a masterpiece The Dark knight is a serious superhero movie without the trappings or escapisms of the usual fare one associates with a headline blockbuster film. It is tragic, exciting, vengeful and filled with underlying themes.
Buoyed by a fantastic turn as the joker by the tragically departed Heath Ledger and everything one associated with Nolan the Dark knight is a treat of a film. Do not miss. (One of the best middle films ever made).
