Review of The Dark Knight (2008) by Campbell P — 25 Feb 2015
After watching this movie a second time I love The Dark Knight even more! I got lost in this movie, the atmosphere of this movie sucked me in. Gotham City is such a dark setting and it looks really cool on screen.
The story is a lot of things, it's a thriller, comic book movie, dark, funny, sinister, and especially entertaining. The story follows the batman and not everyone cares for him. Some view him as an outlaw some view him as the hero Gotham needs.
Then Harvey Dent comes in the picture and becomes the hero everyone needed. The Joker is always causing trouble at every turn no matter how messed up it may be. Which leads to the characters. The characters in this movie are fantastic.
Batman/Bruce Wayne is very interesting and fun to watch especially Batman. The Joker is super creepy, sinister, evil, psychologically advanced, and is full of dark humor. I was amazed at how amazing the Joker was is this movie.
The action in this movie is awesome too! Every Batman scene is action filled. The cast had really good chemistry especially Batman and the Joker. The interrogation scene is really where they shine together.
This movie is full of memorandum lines and scenes (Why so serious?! the bank robbery). This movie is one of the best well rounded movies I've ever seen. There's not much else I can say about this movie.
It's near perfect really! The Dark Knight is a super fun time and I can't recommend a movie more than I can recommend this one because a ton of people would love it. A.
