Review of The Dark Knight (2008) by Roland M — 27 Aug 2016
Really, nothing else like this. It's carrying a really heavy and a serious message, mostly about morality. It respects the characters from the comics, because, Director Christopher Nolan didn't change them, he simply made them into something more and realistic.
The performances from the actors were exceptional, and Christian Bale was just, Well, it really felt like He IS Bruce Wayne. The Joker was The legitimate villain. He's the other half of Batman, and that's what made him so perfect as an antagonist for the main character, and Heath Ledger really did bring him to life. The Dark Knight was Perfectly written, and executed. And I did notice a few plot holes, but that's just not gonna cut it, not even a scratch. This is the best film I've ever watched, and I do watch lots and lots of films.
