Review of The Dark Crystal (1982) by Adriano B — 28 Nov 2009
A fairly exoteric piece that suffers a little bit under the quite new-age, almost masonic thesis underlined. The grotesque skeksi are really memorable, the male protagonist less so: one of the gayest pathetic little thingies ever seen on movie... despite this, his fairie minstress rocks.
Definetly, not a kids' movie: fascinating, mesemerizing, but not enamoring, for me.
