A slice of life of catholic teenage boys in the 70s, this film breaks no new ground, yet the story telling and portrayal of teens is believable and well executed, a feat usually failed when middle aged directors reminisce through rose coloured glasses.
kinda like a catholic not quite as whimsical virgin suicides.
