Review of The Damned Don't Cry (1950) by Claire X — 02 May 2007
An absolute feast for Crawford fans! She manages to run through so many of her famous reincarnations in one movie! The put-upon housewife, determined shopgirl and finally a glamorous society dame - they're all here! The only let-down is Davis Brian, who comes across as far too aggressive and OTT even for this particular nasty part.
Still a cracker, though.
