Review of The Dam Busters (1955) by Keith W — 02 Nov 2014
There are so many great scenes in this film - where do you begin? The ship tank at Teddington (I worked as a student on a larger version) and the preparation for the raid are my favourite sequences. Just showing the Lancasters parked ready for action is a brilliant touch.
That final scene with Wallis and Gibson, and Gibson walking back to the mess so he could write some letters - unbeatable Peter Jackson.
