Review of The D Train (2015) by Hakeem J — 20 May 2015
I like Jack Black, he's a great actor and has proven his range cinematically many a time. This film starts off with a sweet, lighthearted indie exterior, but quickly takes a turn into a far darker comedy perhaps than the director intended.
It delves into the obsessions of one man to want to belong, and the lengths he'll go to make that happen. And it was an experience I enjoyed, but can very safely say is not for everybody.
