Colourful period horror movie. The defining Frankenstein movie for several decades. Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee kick-started their movie careers with this one. The beautiful Hazel Court is one of the most talented actresses to grace British horror.
The gore content in this, in 1957, was a sensation worldwide, and provided a winning formula for assured Hammer Films for decades to come.
