Review of The Crucible (1996) by Rob A — 21 Dec 2007
The Crucible is one of the greatest American plays ever written, and because the script here is penned by the play's author, this is one of the best movies ever, definitely in my personal top 10 list.
The final scenes were John Procter and his wife rediscover their love for each other in the face of death, and where John finally comes to terms with his guilt and still seeks to keep the honor of his name, are devastating.
I can watch this (and read this) again and again without ever getting tired of it.
