Review of The Crucible (1996) by Jared B — 23 May 2018
Arthur Miller's play the "Crucible" is a wonderful play that deserves to be a classic. The film in 1996 is mostly accurate and there are good performances from most people. Winona Ryder does a fantastic job as the envious Abigail.
John Proctor is great as well. The ending was depressing as well, you kind of wish that Proctor went with Abigail in a demented sort of way. Some overtop moments, but historically accurate.
