Review of The Crucible (1996) by Jared%20 L — 22 Jan 2017
After reading the book by Arthur Miller the movie did a great job with portraying on what Miller was going for. The film is very intense and attention grabbing as Daniel Day-Lewis did a great job acting as John Proctor as he is faced with many troubles that he has to overcome. He has a hard time doing that when Abigail Williams played by Winona Ryder comes up with lies that could hurt the community and certain people in it.
The film does a great job with going back to that time period and adapting to those things. This is a film that is worth watching as it gives you a true affect on what happened back then.
