Review of The Crucible (1996) by Deepak C — 17 Jan 2012
Pacing clearly isn't a strength of this movie; the first half was too slow and the finale was too rushed. But some of the performances were very good (Judge Danforth in particular), and this is overall a passably watchable movie.
I wouldn't recommend it unless you've read the play, though.
