Review of The Crucible (1996) by Cassandra L — 13 Nov 2013
On a matter of perspective, I found it extremely melodramatic. Most of the scenes are not suspenseful, hardly any characterization developed. Abigail is evil, period. And John Proctor is stupid for loving a woman, period.
Additionally, there is hardly anything worth to remember about the pictures and cinematic techniques. Everything feels too overdone.
