Review of The Crow (1994) by Wade H — 04 Oct 2014
As far as superhero movies go THE CROW provides a dark and thrilling environment which represents the visual and physical embodiment of human sins. Brandon Lee shows off his great, sadly never fulfilled, potential for being a new face in the Cinema World.
The tone of the movie is perfect. Do not let the violent scenes and gothic elements trick you that this is a senseless and brutal piece empowered by a revenge story. There is hidden beauty in the morality of the main heroes in the movie that can teach us a thing or two about accepting certain moments in life without the need of any superpowers like Eric Draven a.k.a. The Crow.
