Review of The Crow (1994) by Ezequiel M — 04 Jan 2018
This is a really wonderful film. Dark, brooding and at its heart filled with romance. Brandon lee's eerie performance is both touching and heartbreaking at times. The actor and the director really understood and believed in the source material and it is all up on the screen to see.
A visually stunning movie, dripping with gothic dread but at the heart of the film is Brandon Lee.
He delivers a show stopping performance in both the physical and dramatic sides of his role. Supported by Michael Wincott as a devilishly entertaining villain and a climax between the two that is both surprising and satisfying.
A truly exceptional film.
