Review of The Crazies (1973) by Nonya B — 20 Apr 2012
Another classic from George Romero. A town gradually goes mad when a military bio-weapon is accidentally released from a plane crash. While less gory than other Romero films, this one is more psychologically disturbing. What would happen if the military was forced to quarantine a whole town and the soldiers themselves couldn't tell who was infected? And how would you know if you were infected youself? Can someone who's crazy really tell if they are?
I'm looking forward to the new remake of this. It should be interesting to see how the story is updated.
