An absolutely amazing film. Deserved the Academy Award for best foreign film of 2007! This true story of survival is remarkably told to the extent at which it almost exceeds Schindler's List, but not quite.
Karl Markovics is fabulous in the role of the most prestigious counterfeiter who ends up working for the Nazis. This brilliantly executed thriller has beautiful compositions, editing and overall appeal.
Worth seeing if you have the time.
