Beautifully crafted film. The relationship and mutual understanding and respect between the counterfeiter and former cop-turned-nazi is understated and well handled. Thankfully doesn't harp on about the politics of it all but questions what people will do to survive from one day to the next.
Naturally it is harrowing at times but compulsive and not without it's moments of humanity.
