Review of The Counterfeiters (2007) by Jason P — 08 Jan 2010
Its been a while since I watched a movie and felt so torn in half if there is such a thing. In this movie I felt so many different emotion and my morals just kept on fighting me or each other(i guess thats how I felt when the movie finished).
This movie makes you think about some of the things that one has to do to stay alive, do you betray your morals, your way of life or do you do what Burger did. I mean I still don't know what I would do, I watched the movie twice but still can't decide.
At the end of the movie when the main character is dancing with the lady at the beach after gambling away all his money, and he say, "we'll just make more", that was so powerful to me in the sense that, he could have meant that he would do it all over again just to stay alive.
Great movie, a must see.
