A good movie overall. I won't go overboard like most who give glowing reviews to films on the basis they are 'based on a true story'. That 'Die Fälscher' is set in the camp at Sachsenhausen should not have a bearing either on the rating.
It's a well written movie by Ruzowitzky with three or four strong performances, a rarity in modern cinema. both Markovics' and Diehl's characters were quite dislikable but huge credit to the actors for their convincing performances.
