Whether you like it or not, this movie will leave you in awe. The movie is... well, unbelievably cruel but you just can't stop watching it. Peter Greenaway's (who wrote and directed the film) imagination has no limits.
The actors have no limits, either (Helen Mirren's performance made me cry; she's so touching). The colours used in the film, the music and the clothes are perfect. This is a good movie if you want to experience a real katharsis.
