Gorgeous to look at but - actually - a touch of the Emperor's New Clothes. Once you get over the visual sumptuousness of the whole thing - which is unarguable - I thought it was, dare I say it, a bit boring and predictable.

Ghastly, objectionable people being shitty to each other, in the end: little redemption in here. Reminded me of the Supper Club in Amsterdam, without the wit. I liked Helen Mirren's accent, and the pastiness of the lover.
