Review of The Conversation (1974) by Nat G — 06 Jul 2009
This film really shows it's age, the plot flows slowly and takes it's time to get anywhere. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola, (who was also making the Godfather films in the same period), makes a fairly good job of this film, but like the Godfather I find it a hard film and a little dull, until it's gets to the end when it gets quite exciting.
I've been told that this film is much better second time round, but it's not a film I'd normally reach for. Film students would love this film but I wasn't won over.
