Review of The Conversation (1974) by Jenna I — 20 Aug 2009
Though it is definitely slow at times, this film about paranoia and privacy is riveting because of its sound and editing, not to mention Hackman's amazingly subtle performance. The jazz score is perfect and wonderfully amplifies the silent worries and fears of Hackman's character.
