Review of The Conversation (1974) by Alberto G — 12 Jun 2013
The Conversation starts off pretty good, but the film slows down to a crawl before long. The problem lies largely in the film's tendency to wander off on too many sideplots (a common weakness in 70s cinema), as well as the fact that the conversation in question, despite it's lurid background, gets boring after about the hundredth time you hear it.
Overrated, if you ask me.
