Review of The Conversation (1974) by Fabian K — 24 Oct 2008
This was an incredibly slow paced movie, but as long as you don't fall asleep it works. Subject still important today, and apparently it was made before the watergate scandal broke. We really get to know Gene Hackman's character more than anything else, the moral questions he deals with in his line of work etc.
The ending doesn't leave any clear answers either.
