Review of The Constant Gardener (2005) by Aut Vincere Aut Mori — 22 Jan 2009
I expected something entirely different. Ralph Fiennes was really monotone and unemotional throughout, so I found myself going, "Meh, who cares?". There was one scene where he's sobbing and pounding his head on the glass, but given that his character was mostly unemotional, I found it to be rather unbelievable.
The best scenes were with Rachel Weisz, and there weren't that many. Definitely not what I expected, and not in a good way.
