Review of The Constant Gardener (2005) by Jon C — 02 Feb 2015
Tremendously impressive performances from both Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz.
And it perfectly captures the political corruption in Africa involving medicine and insurance.
Its' a shame that when this man's wife turns up dead it's because of a conspiracy she stumbled upon involving some important figures.
Now he's trying to piece it all together and return to her the only he knows how.
The movie's job is to open your eyes but also create an upset that swift action has to be taken in whatever part of the world that is truly suffering.
This 'constant' gardener is pursuing what matters to him.
