Review of The Company Men (2010) by David S — 17 Sep 2011
I think, a downer as much of it is, that it plays a poignant part in communicating an American way of life that they often do not see. Many Americans see things in life as their "right" to have. Those that are successful, and in these "company jobs" seem to have this mentality. Therefore when hard times come, they are unable to make the adaptions needed to their lives to survive.
Coming from the former president of the Writer's Guild of America, The Company Men is beautifully shot, well acted, and very strong in the script.
