Review of The Company Men (2010) by Mitch M — 30 Jun 2013
We are all one missed rent payment, one unforeseen illness, and one pink-slip away from losing all control of our lives. Very few people are immune to bankruptcy, and most of us are much, much closer to it than we like to admit. This film highlights this troubling fact very well, and it wraps it in the all-too-familiar historical context of the "Great Recession" that we are still reeling from today.
I'd recommend the movie. It was a good film, with a stellar cast and script -- all wrapped in a message that is important and necessary.
