Not a fun movie. The kid is somewhat of a brat, but realistically portrayed. Tommy Lee Jones sours any movie he is in. Susan Sarandon provides some tough love. The opening suicide scene was ugly. There is a sense of danger throughout.
A somewhat rousing conclusion.
