The Circle attempts to send a global message that technology is dangerous and we should be more aware of it, but the problem is that the movie doesn't do this job well. With a great cast, the film seemed to have some potential, but the terrible and coincidental plot made the film unenjoyable.
Some of the plot points just don't make sense (ex: Watson decides to go kayaking for no apparent reason, and that's the reason why Watson goes completely transparent). It's unimaginable how easy it is for Watson and the Circle to accomplish what they want.
It's also unimaginable how bad the film was, especially with the great cast.
