Review of The Circle (2017) by Dvd S — 02 Aug 2018
High concept, poor theme execution.
It felt like it was always getting started. Maybe it should have been a miniseries instead? The questions it asks never seem to get answered.
And the end? What's the moral of the story? Mae takes over and spreads her version of a completely monitored society? The only reason it was "bad" was because of Tom Hanks? I don't get the message they wanted to send.
