Review of The Cider House Rules (1999) by Martin K — 25 Oct 2007
A cozy horeshit adaptation of a gloriously whimsical book, and by the author himself no less. Sure, sacrifices have to be made but at what cost? At what point are you just making something limited, ideologically confused, and stupid? Rachel Portman's score is lovely and Michael Caine is quite good.
