Review of The Choice (2016) by Scott H — 06 Feb 2016
It would have been fine had it ended around the hour and a half mark, but it throws in another plot like most Sparks movies do, and it doesn't help progress any narrative and takes away from what actually does work - the chemistry between the two leads.
Tom Wilkinson is great as the film's father figure, but overall it's cliche and its male antagonist has backstory elements that found it hard for me to get invested in him finding happiness. Not horrible, but only slightly entertaining.
