Review of The China Syndrome (1979) by James P — 10 Nov 2008
Back in the 1970s, heroes were ordinary people that wrestled with their conscience and chose to do the right thing at great personal expense. Today a hero is someone who can drive their car into a helicopter.
This film is a sad reminder of how far we haven't come in thirty years. Gripping.
